The Principality of Andorra is a sovereign microstate of 468 square kilometers nestled in the eastern Pyrenees between Spain and France, administratively organized into seven parishes that serve as its main territorial divisions: Andorra la Vella, Canillo, Encamp, La Massana, Ordino, Sant Julià de Lòria, and Escaldes-Engordany. It is Europe´s third-smallest state after Vatican City and Monaco, with an average elevation of 1,996 meters that makes it the highest country on the continent, and its official language is Catalan, although Spanish, French, and Portuguese are also spoken.
