The project was born more than 20 years ago and has grown continuously ever since, becoming a loyal community of thousands of players. Although few new faces arrive, those who play do so a lot: there are hundreds of games in progress and thousands of games played every year. Playing is simple and free: you only need to register with a name and an email address. There is no need to install programs or applications. Everything works in the browser, both on computer and mobile, and you can participate in several games at the same time with a single account. Is it free to play?Yes. Registration and playing are completely free. Optional credits and privileges exist, but they are not necessary to play. Do I need to install anything?No. You play directly in the browser, on a computer or mobile device. You do not need to download or install any application. How do you play Risk online turn by turn?You create or join a game, place your troops, attack territories with the dice, reorganize your armies and end your turn. Each player moves when it is their turn, so games can last several days without everyone needing to be online at the same time. How many players can a game have?In Risk, a game supports 3 to 6 players. You can also play against other users from around the world or in team modes. Are there tournaments in CompeticionRisk?Yes. You can enter tournaments with knockout levels, individually or in teams: you progress through the levels until the final, and whoever wins it is crowned champion. Tournaments can award prizes in credits and allow you to play on restricted maps without needing privileges. Do I receive notifications when it is my turn to play?Yes. The system sends automatic messages and alerts by email and Telegram when it is your turn to move, when someone adds you to a game, or when other events occur. All notifications are configurable: you decide which alerts you want to receive and through which channel. Can I create my own Risk map?Yes. In addition to the more than 100 available maps, there is a map mode (the CONFIGURATION map) based on a grid, which allows any player to design their own map starting from a square grid. What are seasons?Seasons are periods in which the rankings of all players accumulate in order to reward the best players at the end. There are quarterly seasons and an annual season, each with its own ranking. What are challenges?Challenges are objectives that each player sets for themselves (for example, winning a certain number of games or conquering the world several times within a period). If you complete the challenge within the time limit, you earn extra points; if you fail, you lose part of them. You choose the type, amount and deadline. Can I play special modes, not just classic Risk?Yes. You can create games with modes such as fog of war (you only see your immediate surroundings), capital (if your capital is conquered, you lose everything), teams, missiles for attacking from a distance, or fortresses and generals that provide extra dice in defense and attack. How is the best player determined?Each player has a Game Level (from 0 to 1000) that combines several types of points: for winning games, for the level of the opponents you defeat, for the duration of games, for surviving without being eliminated, and for completed personal challenges. Can I play in several languages?Yes. The website is available in several languages, so you can play and browse in whichever you prefer. What are credits and privileges?Credits are the site´s optional virtual currency. With them, you can activate temporary privileges such as playing unlimited games at the same time, accessing all maps or using the online mode with chat on the map.
